Wandered into the Giana Espresso Bar yesterday - Orens to the south - Starbucks to the north - why not try an new ((3 month old) off-brand -

Decorated in comfortable blues - whites - accented with black - the space features a l-o-n-g banquette that runs down one entire wall -
At the far end - espresso - coffee - pastries - sandwiches - lots of chocolate goodies -
Ordered my favorite - large black with a shot (red-eye in Starbucks Speak) - offered in a real cup (with saucer) - opted for double paper - rich - hot not scalding - sense of texture -
Sat down - sipped my coffee - made my calls - did some paperwork - read the paper - WiFi was available but laptops were not on my day's menu -
Very pleasant - relaxing - an oasis - worth going back to -
